| Customer Reviews: My choice in clip-on tuners April 13, 2010 Carl Reed I had to wait a really long time before I received this tuner. In fact it was considered lost. Once it finally arrived, I was pleased with its operation. I primarily use it for acoustic guitars and ukuleles. The display is bright, large and easy to read. It appears to be very accurate, and only bounces around if the instrument is slightly flat or sharp. When tuning instruments, I pluck each string using my index finger. I don't use a pick while tuning. For some reason this gives me better results when using these clip-on style tuners. This one gets the job done. I am satisfied with my purchase!
Not bad for the money April 1, 2010 N. Huguley This is my first digital tuner like this, so I do not have anything to compare it to. I used to have an expensive analog one years ago that I tuned my bass to, but that would be apple and oranges, so I won't compare the two. I paid $10 for this, and I really like it. It is small, very easy to read. I bought it to toss in my Ukulele case, and it is small enough to stick in any small compartment. Just clip it on and tune away. It automatically reads the string you are tuning. It seems to be pretty accurate for on the fly quick tune job. It starts to get kinds hard to tweek it in if you have background noise going on, because I think it may get confused trying to figure out your strings, and noise going on in the background. But, it did pretty good with moderate background noise from the TV. I like it, and it's cheap enough to plop on in each of your instrument cases you have. On the fun side, my wife got mad at me when I 1st got it, and held it up to find out what key she was nagging in, hahha.. Safety tip for the day. DON'T try that at home, hahhah.. By the way, my wife gripes at me in "A#"...
